I am extremely disappointed with both the products and customer support from Thermador (and by extension Bosch).
My dishwasher has been out of service since February 20th, and as of today, it is still not repaired. The issue? A part that they continuously delay, with no clear resolution or urgency. Every time I follow up, the expected repair date gets pushed back again. There is no accountability, no proactive communication, and no sense that they value their customers’ time or investment.
This isn’t an isolated issue. Last year, my refrigerator column failed during peak summer heat, with average temperatures around 95 degrees. It took THREE MONTHS for them to resolve that problem. Three months without a properly functioning refrigerator in the middle of summer is completely unacceptable.
These are supposed to be premium appliances with premium service to match. Instead, what you get is unreliability, long downtimes, and a service network that cannot deliver timely repairs.
At this price point, customers should expect dependability and responsive support. Thermador and Bosch have failed on both fronts.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering these brands think twice. The products may look high-end, but the experience of owning them has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
