This florist delivered my bouquet a day late. I was never told about this and even though they had my email and my phone number, they did not notify me. Their explanation was that the driver mis-delivered it, which I understand can happen, but I was surprised that I was never notified of this. Most bouquets are sent because of an "event", and so if a bouquet is delivered a day after a birthday, or a day after a christening, or a day after a graduation, it really doesn't feel the same--it's like the sender forgot and then tried to "mea culpa" the next day. Doesn't hit the same when the flowers arrive the next day. Not good. AND even after they delivered it a day late, they never told me--I had to communicate with them and ask why it was not delivered as ordered. Bad form. I would be very wary of this place if you want a reliable florist in DC. There are tons in the City. Best to go with a place that has better reliability IMO.
