They are located in Christchurch but do not allow for pick-up. The product on the site differs from what was delivered. The instructions were for a different shoe cabinet and were hard to follow. I got frustrated trying to assemble it and reached out for help, but it would have cost $150 to get it assembled for me. I wanted one for boots, but that’s not what I received. The cabinet is unstable and needs to be wall-mounted; I wouldn’t have purchased it had I known, as I live in a flat.
I bought a desk but couldn't fully assemble it because the holes for the bolts were not opened properly, and it was quite flimsy even with most bolts in. I sent a video and pictures and requested a return for a refund. They claimed the manufacturer had no complaints, so it was my issue to just put something on it to stop it from wobbling. Now I’m out the cost of the desk and have to pay to dispose of it since it’s not worth keeping. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.
I recently purchased a set of kitchen appliances from theshopsite.co.nz. The website was user-friendly, making finding and ordering the products I needed easy. My order arrived within three days, well-packaged, and in perfect condition. The appliances matched their descriptions and have been functioning excellently. I didn't need to contact customer service, as the entire process was seamless.
Do not buy from this site or from them on Mighty Ape!!! Office/Gaming Chair purchased. Missing Parts, rubbish quality chair, instructions not in English. USB Cord hanging out of the back of seat for gods knows what? You only have 14 days to return to them for them to consider if they will give you a refund or not. So depending on where you live, sending back to Christchurch will cost you the same price as the chair purchased. Be warned, stay clear of them.
Do not purchase from these people! Terrible quality and serviceSent me a faulty product and only offered $20 as 'compensation' rather than offering to repair, replace or provide a full refund as per consumer guarantees act. Has been over 3 working days and still no 'compensation payment' or resolution and I am beyond disappointed. Will be taking it further if no resolution soon. Absolutely appalling service
Ordered a desk from them. received with damaged. It took them 2 days to reply me. I need to exchange a new one but they offered $10 partial refund. and I said I need a good one not the broken one. Then they asked me to pay another shipment fee which is unbelievable. This is not my problem, why I need to pay the shipment fee again. Totally disappointed and will not recommend my friends to buy anything from them. poor services....
