DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! I bought a plant from The Sill and received it on May 24th. Upon opening the package, I was quickly disappointed when I saw the condition of my new plant. It had fallen out of the pot and was jammed in the bubble wrap, the stick had shot through it, almost breaking it in half. The middle leaves were dead, the rest of the leaves were limp. My husband gave me a gift card for Mother's Day to use with this company, which I applied to this order. I then spent an additional $25 to pay the balance. In total, we spent $51.72, a lot of money for this sad/dead plant. According to their website, The Sill guarantees their plants will arrive in "happy, healthy condition. If not, we replace them for free as part of our 30-Day Customer Happiness Guarantee." Per instructions on their website, I emailed the company immediately upon receipt, explaining the condition of my new plant. This was on the evening of May 24th. I have sent three follow-up emails since then (one on Friday, May 26; Wed, May 31st; Wed June 7th). Their website states that it may 2-3 business days to respond. It has been over two weeks. I have heard nothing. I even went on their online chat, waited for almost 20 minutes to speak with an agent.; no agent arrived. There was an automated directive to email the company, which I had already done three times. I'm disappointed in the service I have received, and the zero regard for customers who pay a lot for these plants. You can get better plants (at a cheaper price and with better customer service) at Lowes, Home Depot, or your local nursery! Stay away from this company and do not waste your money!
