UPDATE ON MY EXPERIENCE. Purchased a vehicle in November, and on the second day, the engine light illuminated. I couldn't bring the car to the garage until 31st December! After three weeks and a discussion with my finance company, I finally got the car back on Saturday, 17th January. I'm hopeful it's functioning properly, but I'm still a bit anxious about the engine light. At least it's returned. I want to inform others that there are resources available to assist with issues like this, such as citizen advice and your finance company, so don’t hesitate to reach out. This situation might be preventable if the service took a few basic steps to inspect their vehicles before selling them. Technical issues in modern cars can be easily identified with today's technology. I must commend the after-sales team in Abercynon for their outstanding support! One representative, who demonstrated remarkable patience and empathy, kept me updated daily via email. Unfortunately, they often deal with frustrated customers like myself. I hope the issue has been resolved, but time will tell. If you’re considering a car purchase, ensure you have it checked, take it for a test drive, think it over, and explore your options.
