I wish to lodge a formal complaint about the Trainline website and the discriminatory procedures that exist for purchasing a rail card. As a person with a registered disability under the DDA, and who suffers from mental health issues that prevent me from travelling abroad as well as holding a driving licence I am unable to purchase a Railcard using your website as it fails to offer alternatives in terms of personal id requirements. This is, to my mind, a clearly discriminatory practice, and works directly against my hopes of being able to benefit from wider travel and contact that might help my state of mind. In today's world I find it inexplicable that your company can adopt such an attitude towards people who do not fall into convenient categories.
