Ref::337109. Despite 2 submissions, Trainline refuse to answer, DESPITE, their public statement that they will respond in 24 Hours. I booked all these tickets through TRAINLINE. It now looks as if I shall have to involve The E.U. which is a big disappointment.

I am over a thousand euros out of pocket, after Spanish and French train cancellations, at least you get a reply from UK Networks. So much for the E.U.Rules

I saw no ticket collectors or guards, only going through gates both ends of trip, not on the train. I feel a presence of some official person would feel a bit more secure.
I don’t like the beggars who come on the trains and drop a piece of paper with info next to you and walk off down the train coming back five minutes later asking for money…. Surely the train ride is costing them money ?
I don’t enjoy using trains these days people talking loud on their phones and listening to the two way conversation as well - not considering other passengers.
I would like more security on the train ride ….
rubbish bins should be a little bigger too!
First class isn’t manned and it’s abused all the time.
There you go that’s something to think about!!

I bought a first class ticket to go to Fulda and back from Salzburg. AND I bought insurance. The Conductor in Fulda closed the doors abruptly with me standing in front of them. I didn't MISS the train. They didn't let me on. So I had to take a subsequent train and on the second train I received a ticket because I didn't have the proper ticket. I spent 210 euros on the return ticket (including the insurance) and trainline is not refunding anything and I missed the train due to DB. I was on the platform an hour in advance. Worst customer service ever!Avoid trainline at all costs!

I have used Trainline a few times previously with no issues. However we recently booked tickets via them to travel Malaga to Cordoba return. Looking forward to a short break there. Notification yesterday that train (OUIGO) has been cancelled. Apparently refund via a voucher which is of no use to use as we don’t intend to be back in Spain. Trainline of no help whatsoever just a waste of time with the AI WhatsApp messages which eventually advised to go to the EU customer service which does not recognise the reference number! Holiday messed up because of cancellation and absolute frustration with trying to get a refund for a train that was cancelled. V annoyed

I had a very frustrating experience travelling between Weston-super-Mare and Bristol Temple Meads. On my journey to Bristol, no one stopped me or informed me about any bicycle restrictions. However, on my return from Bristol Temple Meads, I was suddenly told my bicycle was not allowed. I understand rules about electric bikes, but this was never clearly explained at the start.

I was new to Bristol and staying in Weston-super-Mare, and I felt completely stuck and stressed about how to get home. I had to buy another ticket from Bedminster to Weston, where no one questioned my bicycle at all. I wasted both time and money, and I was not refunded for the unused ticket.

Very inconsistent and disappointing experience. Clear communication would have avoided this situation.

I am was not familiar v the train journey ..made few mistakes like seat allocation, no idea about which coach I shld be n wat facilities are provided in the train. The experienced I had on my first time v GWR train was AMAZINGLY AWESOME..n enjoyable one
, it was comfortable, pleasant, the train are clean and the service was excellent. I tried first class n the experienced was 5stars . Highly recommended n the coach B on my return ticket evening is safe . I was so happy v the service n the safety, I now decided not to drive to London anymore 😊bcoz the train journey is better just relax enjoy the scenery, the brilliant service n the comfort.Tq for looking after me .

Journey keeps resetting so I can't get availability or a price. Feedback button does not work and contact us does not help ( just resolves to a guidance note or invitation to call) Luckily I have Train Split app too so won't waste time in future!

I've used Trainline a few times and I find it easy use. I prefer to book on the website and then download tickets from the phone app.
I accidentally booked and paid for tickets online and then realised I'd booked for the wrong dates. I tried to cancel and get a refund but it wasn't an option online without a phone call.
I tried again on the phone app and was immediately able to cancel the tickets for a refund since I had made the cancellation request within 15 minutes of the purchase. The money was refunded within a couple of days.
I think this is quite good service but interesting that I couldn't easy find an option to request a refund using the website.
