I recently bought a DIY dinosaur terrarium (£60) for my little boy. What turned up was an average, cheap and rather poor experience.Despite the price the terrarium jar is plastic and has visible plastic joins either side of the jar. It looks cheap and tacky. The plants are smaller than the picture and come in a plastic cup, too small for the plants. By the time you to get to planting them, they have fallen out the cup about 100 times and not an ounce of soil is left. There are no instructions at all, an assumption you are all experts in this field, so by completion stage the whole thing looked utterly woeful. The dinosaur toys are cheap and look like what you pick up in a local Pound Shop. For the price it's disgusting. You could certainly buy all of these items yourself for around £15/20
