I purchased 2 "Barbary Ducks - Large - Fresh" from thevillagebutchers.co.uk. It's well stated on their website that the Ducks are fresh and ready to cook! I received Frozen Ducks... They buy fresh Ducks from France already packed and labelled (brand: Autour de Lise), then they freeze them and relabel them for sale in the UK. I don't recommend this website.
