I purchased a 3-day unlimited eSIM plan. After only 24 hours, my speed was throttled to around 1 Mbps, making the service barely usable. My total usage during that time was approximately 7.5 GB, which is not excessive by any reasonable standard. I did not torrent, download large files, or stream continuously in high resolution. Internet sharing was limited to one person only, during travel, and only in places where no Wi-Fi was available.Support responded with generic messages about “high consumption in a short period of time” and Fair Usage Policy, but they were unable to provide any clear or measurable thresholds (e.g. GB per day) that would justify the limitation. This makes the term “unlimited” highly misleading.Additionally, they claim that the eSIM is “not intended to replace Wi-Fi”, which makes little sense when Wi-Fi is simply not available — mobile data is then the only option.Overall, this feels like a marketing tactic where “unlimited” actually means unknown limits with sudden throttling, without transparency or prior warning. I would not recommend this service to travelers who need reliable internet access.
