Thistle Heathrow T5Used before. This time horrendous service The reception staff checked us in with no information on where the room was, or the restaurant location. Luckily we knew where to go as know the layout.In the bar we asked for 2 drinks but the barmaid just stared at us and didn’t understand. We repeated our order another 2 times, even pointing and touching the item. Still she didn’t understand, and called for someone. After 5 minutes a man arrived and asked if he could help. We told him we had asked 4 times for a drink and was just being stared out. If she can’t understand English or even pointing at item, she should NOT be behind the bar. He wasn’t interested and when I complained to reception in the morning, there conveniently wasn’t a manager there. Totally spoilt a relaxing afternoon prior to our flight out the next day.
