We booked tickets to Rebel with a Cello on 17th April 2024.Both our tickets & the App both said the venue was Spark Arena.Earlier in the week we were notified to please update our app so we have the "Most Up To Date Information" so we did & the venue was STILL Spark Arena.We arrived at Spark Arena to find ot locked and closed.Luckily we bumped into another couple who was also attending the event and they had somehow found out it had change to Aotea Center.In all of this we had parked and got charged for 5 minutes of parking a full 1Hr rate as was ATs rates, which we were fine with as we thought we'd be there significantly longer.We tried reaching out to TicketMaster to request that we be reimbursed for the parking at the incorrect venue as it was not our fault that we had now incured an additional unexpected cost on what was a treat night out.We were met with excuse after excuse and were in the end told and I quote from the email "Refunds and Exchanges are generally only available where an event has been cancelled or rescheduled or where New Zealand Consumer Law applies." Very simply told to go away and they have zero accountability for their poor/ lacking communication.We were not the only ones that were at the wrong venue MANY of us had gone to the wrong place as a result of their app and tickets not being correct.Another example of a big company not being willing to take accountability for their actions.
