Quick and easy to get into venue. Helpful and friendly security staff apon entry. Not so good when told no water bottles. Too bad if was hot day, not good WHS issue to have if heatstroke was to be a problem. Easy to imagine multiple people passing out due to lack of fluids. I understand if it was only the front section (where I was) if band injury was the main concern from thrown objects, not that I think that would be a problem anyway but I guess there are reasons. Need to find better way of avoiding this situation especially in hot weather. Security really good to act quickly on people upsetting others in crowd. Had issue with a younger male who appeared to be under influence of a substance, trying to push to the front. After questioning him and his mate, both ejected promptly. Good for everyone else.
