Disappointed

I was really disappointed the show was not rescheduled due to the impacts of Cyclone Alfred. There were a lot of us that couldn't make the show because of flooding, power outages and debris from fallen trees. It seemed like the promoter had no empathy and consideration for the many people impacted. There were people coming from interstate and they had to cancel flights and accommodation before Monday. The late notice provided on Monday evening, by both the promoter and Ticketmaster was not helpful for anyone. Having a lot of people converge on a city that was also suffering from the impacts of Alfred seemed a little insensitive and off the mark. The strict no refund policy was unbelievable and unfair. Under normal circumstances, I understand the policy but in a terrible weather situation the South East was experiencing, this strict policy seemed tone deaf. Particularly when people were struggling with the damage caused and the stresses of not being able to physically get to the concert. This strict policy just added to the stress. I will definitely think twice before booking a show through Ticketmaster again. If I do, I will only do so if there is a more reasonable refund policy.
