ÖBB offers a very bad service, particularly on the Vienna–Budapest route. The trains are massively overcrowded, with passengers standing in the aisles and blocking the carriages. ÖBB clearly does not have enough capacity for the number of travelers it carries.This points to poor administration and management, and even Austrian passengers complain about the declining quality of the service. I would not recommend this train route.*
