I have been using Ticket Tailor to sell tickets for my events for many years. I've never had to speak to anyone as everything is automated via their website and it works as it should. I took a 1 year break and due to a change in business partner decided to open a new account instead of using the one my previous business partner was tied to. As I'd only had a one year break I didn't check their pricing structure as I assumed it would be the same, or similar. The website let me add an event and go live, putting my tickets on sale, without asking me to choose a price plan or show me pricing information. After selling 5 tickets through the new account I then had an email saying I had to select a price plan. When I looked the previous price plan I was on no longer existed and although I was happy to pay an increase in price, the only plan available now to suit my needs had increased by 446%. I wrote to them explaining with such a large price increase the pricing information should've been given to me before I was allowed to go live with my event, and the only reason I didn't check was because it was only a year since last using it and I would never have imagined they would increase their pricing by so much. The person I dealt was very unfriendly, cold and factual with their statements. They offered no personal care and did not try and relate to my situation in any way. They simply said their pricing structure is what it is and I would have to pay the updated price for their service. This is no way to deal with a customer of so many years. I had every reason to believe any price increase would be slight, and not 446% more. Due to my tickets being on sale now I cannot do anything about it without disrupting my event. However I will be looking for a new service after this event. There is no way I will deal with an uncaring company that offers no customer care.
