Very helpful staff when I was in a stressful situation in a hospital in Germany. The staff who I called were very reassuring and explained what I needed to do. They remained in constant contact via email and maintained a calm and professional manner even when o was very flustered. Our claim when we got home was processed quickly. A couple of weeks later we received another bill from the paramedics, meaning we had to reopen our claim and ask for another bill to be covered. Despite some glitches in communication via email and a short delay, once we got on the phone to TICK they accepted the additional claim. In 30 years of travelling and always taking out travel insurance and not once needing to make a claim, the experience with TICK proved that the premium we pay for travel insuyis absolutely worth it.
