The simplicity of purchasing my travel insurance online was seamless with Tick Travel Insurance. There was a good discount promo which came in clutch. I have purchased Tick Travel Insurance on a few overseas trips and the cover I require is always met. I have yet to claim to date. But so far so GOOD!
Dealing with the service has been extremely frustrating when attempting to make a claim, as they have prolonged the process and caused endless amounts of annoyance. I have seen other reviews that seem to emphasize "value for money". However, insurance is pointless if the claims process is completely flawed and unmanageable. We were caught in a significant cyclone affecting a large area in Asia, which was well documented on various official platforms. We provided substantial "proof" of our 3-day delay. We were covered for "natural disasters," yet the service is asking us to obtain a personalized letter from the airline that canceled our flights for two consecutive days.
We decided to change our insurance after finding exclusions in the policy document that were not satisfactory. Regrettably, we received less than half of the premium paid, even though we had no travel plans for another six weeks. It's essential to read the policy document carefully.
