I upgraded from an older analog system that had crashed. I had a 16-camera analog setup, and once connected to the new DVR, everything worked great immediately. However, the remote apps require some learning, and there are still issues downloading specific event videos. It seems challenging to select a single camera event and download just that section, as the software prefers downloading all cameras with the same clip times. Aside from that, it functions well for my older cameras.
