I bought a Tiger potting shed in March 2023. 3 years later I notice that 3 or 4 of the slats have warped quite badly, creating significant gapping. The shed is now leaking. I made contact with Tiger and was told that it's my own fault as I didn't treat the shed annually with wood preserver! I was advised that to replace the slats would cost £15.00 and delivery would cost £40 or I could drive to Leeds and pick them up myself.
Had I know that I had to treat the shed annually I'd have bought a shed from B&Q. Their sheds have never warped on me.
Why doesn't Tiger pre treat the sheds or use pre treated wood? I bought fence panels 10 years ago that didn't need to be treated for 5 years. They are still in perfect condition.
I'm not impressed with Tiger's after sales customer care because it's nonexistent! Be advised, if you want a Tiger shed, you have to work on it every year. I'll stick to local shed builders and forget about Tiger. Think we're just paying for a name, and not a very good one in my experience.
