I loved the bag when I received it. However after having it for 13 months I noticed it was coming a part on the strap. I contacted Time Resistance for a warranty claim. I had to follow up twice to get a response. The response was "a gift card for $50 USD for this issue, or repair at our headquarters, with a longer turnaround of up to 6 months." Since the repair was relatively small, but if left in repaired could become larger, I replied I would see if I could find a local leather repair shop and get back with them. I found a shop and said I would take the $50 gift card. I naively assume it would be something like a Visa gift card. It was a card for a future purchase at Time Resistance. So I got what amounts to a 30% discount to purchase another potentially defective handbag.
