Timex Confirms DHL Lost my Watch. Timex Won't Confirm a Refund.

Ordered a watch that was shipped via DHL. DHL lost the parcel, which both DHL and Timex have confirmed in writing. Despite this, Timex has refused to issue a refund or offer a replacement and simply states the matter is “under investigation.” They will not give any timeframe for resolving this or any justification for delaying a refund when it is already accepted that the watch is lost and will not be delivered. There is no good reason for this approach; it wastes everyone’s time and unnecessarily damages what should be an important legacy watch brand. I have therefore been left with no choice but to raise a dispute with my card provider to recover the money.
