I purchased a new watch from a well-known jewelry store in Germany, but after just two months, it stopped functioning. Now living in Greece, I sought service and provided all necessary documentation, including the warranty card and receipt. The local service team claimed the warranty was not valid and requested around 70 € for a battery replacement, which is excessively high considering that it typically costs a maximum of 15 € at most places. They even estimated that fixing any other issues could reach around 300 €, far beyond what it should cost for a new quartz movement. The service I received was incredibly disappointing and has been my worst experience as a consumer. I'm seriously considering involving legal assistance over this matter, as I feel quite embarrassed by how I was treated. The actions of the local service team reflect poorly on the company.
