I am a Makaton tutor based in Derby. I have been using Makaton now for nearly 16 years so I was able to communicate with my son. I became a Makaton tutor in July 2025 after finding a passion of using it through music. I now endeavour to help families all over the UK communicate with their children and make professional settings more inclusive for our SEN community.
My son TJ and myself joined tiktok in 2023, under the name @tashaandtj, and took the platform by storm with our learning to communicate journey and have now racked up an amazing amount of followers across social media platforms.
