As a family of five, we made a reservation, but upon arrival, we were met with a very abrupt request from the bar staff to place our drink and food orders with them. Our experience continued to decline as we approached the serving area, where we encountered an unhelpful carver. I requested lamb, beef, and turkey, but the beef was mostly fat, making it inedible for my family. After waiting ten minutes for vegetables to be replenished, we were informed they had run out as it was closing time. My son, who only eats roast potatoes, found them to be mushy and served in a dangerously hot metal tray. No gravy was available, and despite being promised a gravy boat, it never arrived. My partner's XL dish and sausages were also tough to chew. I expressed my concerns to a wonderful waitress who took the time to examine our meals. She then sought help from her manager, who agreed to refund just one meal. When we questioned this decision, we were told it was because we had already paid. The manager, who seemed dismissive, merely laughed at our situation. While the service from the waitress was exceptional, the bar staff's attitude was unacceptable, and the manager's behavior was truly disappointing.
