What a lovely country pub. The food was excellent, plenty of local produce too. I had a Tolly Burger, the beef patty was delicious and the burger and bun so large I had to attempt to eat it with a knife and fork. The fruit crumble was full of local fruit with a crunchy crumble topping along with a scoop of local ice cream. The service was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Out the back the view across open rolling countryside was stunning, I can imagine it’s hard to get a seat in summer!Disabled access and facilities were good too. A very enjoyable afternoon with friends, would highly recommend.
