I have bought several pens from Tom's Studio now - 2 gorgeous Lumos pens (that I use with a brush nib on one end and a fine liner on the other), a beautiful little Wren with recycled lid, an amazing Bloom calligraphy pen and, more recently, the most wonderful fountain pen. I've also bought, of course, nibs and inks to go with. Tom's Studio is just an amazing company on every level. Customer support every time has been amazing - whether I've had technical questions or wanted to change something in an order etc. They are always super responsive and helpful and friendly. Even during the hectic Christmas period!!! Their products are out-of-this-world - I really do feel a huge gratitude for what a difference these lovely pens make in my life. They allow these little mindful moments in my day of writing out a quote or a thought, or sketching an image, and enjoying everything about the experience - which comes down to amazing craftsmanship. The pens are all gorgeous to hold, lovely to use in every way (changing inks and nibs - and the range of both) and produce beautiful calligraphy or art. And on top of that they're environmentally ethical in a way that's very well thought through - everything from their packaging to the materials they use in production, to the fact that these pens genuinely do replace disposable pens (which was what brought me to Tom's Studio in the first place). The idea for Tom's business came from watching his wife Gemma use a plastic mass-produced calligraphy pen which he felt didn't match the quality of her beautiful work. With his background in furniture and product design which he studied at university and his experience of working in a blacksmith's forge, he decided to make her a better pen that she would love using every day.See more
