Premium writing experience, lovely design

Honestly, the writing experience and the quality of the ink are the best things about Tom's Studio products. I purchased the Wren, Lumos and Field Mouse for myself, and the Wren as a present for a friend. Let me tell you, as a scribbler, I couldn't be more enthralled at the loveliness of the writing experience. What surprised me the most, on top of all of that, is the quality and care that went into crafting these pens. The compact design means I can carry them anywhere, the colors (I went with metallic green and pink) are vivid and smooth, and the finish of the design is just top-notch. The inks (I got Neptune and Expresso) are so rich and nuanced, excellent for both calligraphy and everyday writing. The various nibs and tips offer a varied range of strokes, and the reservoir & tip containers are super useful when you want to change ink color without the reservoirs drying up.

  • Hand-crafting creative tools you'll look forward to using every day and treasure for the rest of your life. The idea for Tom's business came from watching his wife Gemma use a plastic mass-produced calligraphy pen which he felt didn't match the quality of her beautiful work. With his background in furniture and product design which he studied at university and his experience of working in a blacksmith's forge, he decided to make her a better pen that she would love using every day.See more
