Review Time
I used their service for a quick free CV review, but it felt more like a tactic to upsell their professional packages. The feedback I received seemed generic, as if no one actually took the time to properly go through my CV. It felt like a quick skim at best—or possibly even automated. Key details like my recent job and education were completely off, which made me doubt if anyone reviewed it seriously at all.As a designer, I found their critique contradictory—they said my CV wasn’t “nice” enough, then two sentences later advised me to ditch a carefully designed PDF made with Illustrator in favor of a plain Word document. Interestingly, they claim a print quality pdf with 756kb is too much. I mean an email can take at least up to 5mb attachment (some provider can do more), and so far all jobseeker page allowed me to upload it, so not sure why this is a problem for them.One thing is I agree with that some hr software would not really capable to decipher the data in there, but tbh I'm really okay with that. Overall it's a scamy scamy scam scam for a quick buck. The basically creating for you a generic doc file with your data that can be easily automated.
