Review Time
Save your money - use AI instead - much better chance for an invitation to an interview. When I purchased the package from TopCV for a CV refresh and Linkedin profile, there were a few guarantees:- I would be talking with the analyst in charge of revamping my CV - Linkedin Makeover- We Apply For You: 3 Applications- 60-day Interview GuaranteeNothing of this was true!!! I asked to speak to the analyst, she told me this is not possible, no application of my CV was done anywhere and more than 60 days later, no interview happened even for the offers where I applied myself. The LinkedIn revamp was very minimal - there was no review of my LinkedIn account. Instead what I have received was a generic template with some text copied from the CV. I tried using your Auto apply and it generates a completely inaccurate CV.Honestly, these were the worst money I ever spent. I could have done a much better job with chatGPT.
My strategic writer and advisor, Patrcik did a great job. He resolved all my queries and his revert time was quick. He helped me resolve all my queries and the finished product was the best that could have been. Waiting on how it results in turning me in to H.R rounds and landing me interviews.
I took advantage of their free CV review service, which they claim is reviewed by real CV experts. After a few hours, I received an extensive report. Within this, there were some solid points; however, when I looked closer, the text was fully written with AI. I checked this with an AI checker, and it came back with 100%. I find this ironic, given that they say in the feedback that 49% of recruiters would reject a CV for AI. Additionally, there is a section where they have 'improved' your CV. When you click on this, it'll take you to an AI-generated updated CV with buttons to "ask an AI writer". Also kind of ironic considering they make it clear that AI is bad and shouldn't be used in CVs. Admitably while this service is free, you can't expect much, but if they had provided great feedback written by a human, maybe I would've considered paying for their services. However, I might as well just pay an AI service to give me the same feedback as them now.
