Phone case is gorgeous. It’s premium leather, feels delightful in hand, and the finishing is beautiful. Internal bumper case is very nicely textured and grippy, reducing slip and drop risk. The leather panel on the back feels very nice, and also helps with grippiness. My disappointment is with the detachable wallet case. The magnet securing the case to the wallet is not overly strong. Unlike other brands I’ve had in the past, the bond between phone and wallet feels insecure, possibly because the inner half of the folding back means half the magnets pull loose without much force required. The bumper case can just fall off at the wrong angle when the cover is open and one not terribly hard shake had the phone dropping off. This is made worse by the fact that that the wallet cover is a little too big around the phone bumper and the fit is a bit sloppy. I’m also not a huge fan of the closure clip on the wallet cover, which doesn’t close neatly, again possibly because the cover is a little bit too big. You have to pay attention to make sure it secures. At moment the wallet is quite rigid, and I feel as though these issues may get worse as the leather softens with use. This is a premium product, with a premium price tag, particularly once you factor in AUD conversion. So I’m quite disappointed that the main feature I bought it for (the detachable wallet cover) does not seem as well designed as it could and should be. Some hyper vigilance Is needed to prevent the case and cover from separating and gravity doing the rest.
