I spent a fantastic day foraging and cooking with a knowledgeable guide at a local park. The experience was engaging and enjoyable, with clear demonstrations of expertise and enthusiasm. (Though the language could have been toned down a bit!) The schedule provided beforehand was followed, and it’s wise to bring a snack for the midday break, as the cooking starts later in the afternoon. We foraged various fungi and leaves, culminating in a delicious mushroom risotto and apple crumble. Truly an inspiring day!
