Signed up for service with this company because I wasn't happy with Metro by T-Mobile and one thing

Signed up for service with this company because I wasn't happy with Metro by T-Mobile and one thing that I thought was odd at first is that you have to do identity verification to qualify for one of their free phone promos. Even Straight Talk doesn't make you do this. The phone did arrive and I was only charged for the base plan of $40 so it was a pretty good deal but I changed my mind before the phone got here after I talked to Boost Mobile and one of the agents at Total told me they couldn't cancel my order even though it had not shipped yet. They said I would have to refuse the package and when they got it back from UPS they could process a refund. I ended up just activating it but I wish I would have went with Boost. Not only are they cheaper but the customer service isn't as bad. Total wireless has no English speaking agents and there is always a long wait. I called in yesterday to ask a question and the guy on that answered my call was talking and I couldn't understand a word he said. Also the website is glitchy too and it's just not like other carriers like Cricket or Metro. It's almost like Trac Fone. The chatbot on the site is useless as there is no way to reach an actual live agent. Verizon is notorious for horrible customer service so I'm not surprised. I have switched over to ATT prepaid. It's a little more expensive but in life you get what you pay for. $40 a month isn't terrible for unlimited but after what I have read online about Total wireless I just don't trust them and to avoid an annoying long wait and not being able to understand the agent I am letting my phone number go and I'm cancelling my cash app card that's on auto pay with them
