This site freaking sucks. Got banned for no reason, then when I sent multiple emails over the span of two days, they went unseen. However, the ONE TICKET I sent seemed to go seen, as both my alt account (which I've had for a month now!!) and my main account immediately got permanently banned the day after.Don't use this site. If they find reason to not like you, you're going to lose all the work you put into it. And by that I mean everything.
I hate how the Admins have treated the community for the past years, theyre literally more often then not no where able to be found, they mass deleted characters or useres with out contacting them stating theyve broken any rules or TOS and then disappear again!
Not a good social environment. They will ban you without warning for off-site activities. It's weird and a major over reach of power. Several of my friends have lost access to images of their characters forever because of this. I understand having content rules about what is and isn't allowed, but this is absurd and a really childish way to run a website.
Well, it was nice having somewhere to store all of my characters, art, commissions, and shop for new character designs... until I was banned without warning and had every trace of writing and art DELETED! The singular staff member who runs the site refuses to get back to me about my hundreds of dollars worth of art, once you're banned DO NOT expect help from their "staff" about getting anything back. Toyhouse is run like a cliquey private server, the "admin" couldn't care less about you. Store your characters somewhere else.
My account was permanently banned on the grounds of "harassment" and "theft" when I was reported by individuals who decided to accuse me falsely of such deeds.I am thus unable to retrieve my characters, art and coding which I spent hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours on.Many attempts were made to reach out to the site admin to solve this issue but I have been ghosted.I attempted to create an alt account to access the forums to request aid and advice, it was banned as well for no reason.My account name is CarinaAyland. And I just want to access my account to retrieve my content that I rightfully purchased and own.
Don't get me wrong the layout is great and easy to work with. However, there's so many things wrong with it. People's accounts are getting banned arbitrarily and without warning and they're losing everything including characters and art they spent money on (Do not trust Toyhouse.se, back your stuff up in multiple places.) Another thing is the mods. There's only one or two. They're not great at handling situations and have stolen characters and given them to other users without proof of ownership, just because a user made a false claim. Y'all need to get evidence to make sure you're not helping someone steal. Then, there's the new "bot protection" thing. There's no Captcha or anything, no. It's random and prevents users from logging in because "our system suspects you are a bot." I don't message people or do anything suspicious, I've had my account since 2022, but it will not let me log in. If I ever get back in I'm tempted to take all my stuff off there and go off site.
This website is ABSOLUTELY horrible. There’s so much harassment and “callout posts” over things that aren’t even bad. The admin has also let someone steal $80 from me. They do not monitor anything. Adults blatantly harass minors and there’s tons of leaking/doxxing. Please stay away from this community, everyone on this site will witchhunt you. They also track your IP address. WTH is wrong with this site???
They will Never get back to your support tickets. Never ever. I have waited upwards of 4 years for a support ticket to be answered in regards to a copyrighted character being used as an oc. The admins do not care about their users and the option to pay for a "premium membership" for the site is worthless because it does Nothing for you other than cosmetic features. They will allow harassment and endless callouts but will Never get back to you. If your account gets banned, sorry bout ya! They will not ever get back to you about appealing bans or account locks. You will lose Everything you have uploaded to your toyhouse account if they decide to ban you, and they will give you No Warning when they do it. You will not get access to Anything on your account. Its bad!
