Ordered a Christmas present from the website and a week later was advised that the product was out of stock. I paid £136.35 for the original order and was offered a £27 alternative of a completely different toy. I responded to say that I wanted a refund since my original order was not available and the company have refused to issue a full refund of the toy that was falsely advertised, instead offering a voucher worth 35% of my order value. This is just theft. The refund policy on the website states that they'd offer full refunds however in this instance, they are simply refusing to do so. I am horrified by the customer service and by the business practice. I'd advise anyone to stay very far away from this website, which is clearly falsely advertising products that they did not have in the first place and exploiting people. Update 18/12/2024: whilst the company have responded to my review to advise that they are going to offer a 'corrective solution' they have still failed to refund my purchase, instead consistently offering alternative and poor suggestions to avoid repaying the money that they have taken under false pretenses. I have multiple emails confirming that I want to be refunded and many replies from toyscentral saying that my response is noted however no actual confirmation of a refund being processed. The company have also requested that I remove my review if they offer a refund, which is worrying when considering how many times they have done exactly this and tried to manipulate people to remove accurate reviews so that they can continue to scam people. Again, I would advise anyone to avoid purchasing from this website which clearly is not a legitimate business if they act in this format.
