I spoke with a tech support person named Sloane, who was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and a delight as they guided me. I thought I would have to wait for ages but it was as quick as it could have been. The problem wasn't with the TP-Link device but my provider have given me the wrong subnet mask. Thanks Sloane.
