The company aggressively sought my business, but I regret giving them a chance. After providing a quote and accepting prepayment (even before pickup), they returned with an additional charge. They were not transparent, refused to address the dispute with the carrier on my behalf, and showed no interest in maintaining our relationship. My current broker actively advocates for me in situations like this, which TQL did not. Instead of working towards a solution, they refused to negotiate and even threatened collections over a minor disputed fee. There are many excellent freight brokers who value transparency and long-term relationships; in my experience, TQL is not one of them.
