Been using this company approching 5 years, previously never had any issues. Today receieved my renewal notification and my PL and EL insurance policy has increased by £743.32 from last yaer rising to £1935.25 equating to a 62.4% increase. Phone them to ask why and how this is justified and they said there is nothing they can do due to the main insurer making the increase. when I quested what there role was in the transaction as a broker they still insisted it was out of their hands. Surely this it is their job as brokers to negotiate betters deals for their clients. Whilst I am aware there was a claim made on the policy in Decemeber 23 I still can not see how they can justify 62.4% increase. In all the years I had the policy I never had or requested a reduction in my premiums or expected a reduction. This company is clearly just a middle man commisison based company, do not expect them to find you a good deal or negotiate a good deal for you.
