I made a BTC deposit (0.00074967) using an address generated by the Tradeit/NOWPayments system (ID 5894334654). The transaction is confirmed on the blockchain. Support agent Ann admitted the system generated an "old address" of theirs. It's been over 36 hours since the escalation, and I've been ignored on chat tradeit despite the Sun agent being online. As the Merchant, Tradeit is responsible for its gateway integration. I expect an immediate manual credit for this technical failure.
UPDATE: NOWPayments support has officially admitted in an email that the address I sent the funds to is an 'old address' belonging to them. Since this was my first-ever deposit on Tradeit, it is technically impossible for me to have this address unless their system displayed it on my screen. Despite this admission of ownership by their own partner, Tradeit support (Sun) continues to deny responsibility and refuses to provide manual credit for my 0.00074967 BTC. I have all the timestamped proof and will continue to update this review until my balance is credited.
2nd UPDATE: Tradeit support claims there are 'no system errors', but I have a screenshot of a 504 Gateway Timeout error on their own checkout page. This proves their system IS unstable and can serve incorrect data.
They admit the address I sent the BTC to is an 'old address' belonging to their partner, NOWPayments. As a first-time user with zero history, it is logically impossible for me to have this address unless it was served by their glitched system. They are choosing to gaslight a customer instead of taking responsibility for a $50 technical failure. I will not stop until this is resolved.
