Trademe, what an unprincipled, unethical and unreliable company to deal with.They are very happy for you to buy as much product as you can, facilitate the purchase with the company that gives them kick backs, Afterpay, but when it comes to claiming a warranty on a product, they make it as difficult as possible to contact and correspond with them. I have found from experience that trademe are now ignoring customers seeking compensation for faulty goods, especially if outside their stipulated 1 month program they called "buyer protection." What a Total farse. I have had two unfortunate instances where i have tried to get faulty items replaced. The fist took nearly 3 months, and that was a battle with TM the entire way, and this time, they closed the case, advising me "i failed to contact them," when in reality i was waiting for a response from TM after TM advised me, they have given the seller 6 days to sort it out. The next communication was,"we have closed the case as you have not contacted us." The next step trying to contact them via their maze of BS rhetoric on their web site, designed to frustrate and not assist.
