I’m actually rating zero stars. I’ve filed a claim and of course AON wants a Medicare denial of claim (EOB) before they pay out, which I believe they will stall for as long as possible. This insurance company knows that if a Dr. is not enrolled in Medicare, charges are not covered through Medicare. Especially when they can’t provide an NPI (National Provider Identifier) which Medicare and all insurances require. They also know that flag ships are international and their doctors don’t fall under the US jurisdiction of Medicare. Isn’t that why travel insurance is purchased?! And why would reputable cruise lines like “OCEANIA” use a company like AON? Is there a government agency that could help with AON’s business practices? If so, I would like to know.
