I bought a Travel Guard insurance policy that supposedly covered trip cancellation, trip interruption, return transportation, and trip delay.
Our return flight from the Far East was cancelled and we had to pay out of pocket for new flights, hotels, and meals to get back home. I submitted a claim with all the documentation, and Travel Guard denied the entire claim and paid $0.
The policy looks good on paper, but when you actually need it, they find a way not to pay.
My advice: Do not buy insurance from Travel Guard.
