I bought travel insurance with the company in July 2025 for a trip to Japan planned for May 2026. Unfortunately, the holiday was canceled on the doctor's advice due to my wife's health issues. Other family members submitted their documents to their respective companies and have received their refunds, but I have not. The underwriters for the insurance are known to be difficult to work with. I received an email from them on December 4, 2025, promising a refund via BACS within five working days, but I am still waiting. I contacted the claims department of the company, and all they did was file a complaint with the underwriters, which remains unresolved. The staff at the underwriters seem completely incompetent, especially in their claims department. It's puzzling why the line manager is not addressing urgent requests promptly. The delay in processing my refund since December 4, 2025, is unacceptable. Dealing with the travel insurance team and their underwriters has been a nightmare. I strongly advise against using their services. I hope to hear back from the travel insurance team or the underwriters soon.
