My trip was delayed due to me having a pulmonary embolism. I had purchased insurance through Travel Insurance international, so I filed a claim in September. I sent all the documents requested. I had letters from my doctors, receipts, etc. after about a month they told me that I needed to re-file my claims under different categories, so I did so. I checked on my claim every 2 to 3 weeks. I instantly got response, but no one could ever answer my questions. I was told several times a claim agent would call me. Every time they told me my case was under review.. Now it is January 25 and I finally have been able to talk to a Claim agent, who tells me I can’t retrieve any money that I had in costs being hospitalized and stuck in Philadelphia for five days. If that’s all true, why did it take five months for me to get a response!! I have tried to reach the company, and the only place to file a dispute is with AI generated Email. So I’m coming here to vent.
