My trip was delayed due to me having a pulmonary embolism. I had purchased insurance through Travel Insurance international, so I filed a claim in September. I sent all the documents requested. I had letters from my doctors, receipts, etc. after about a month they told me that I needed to re-file my claims under different categories, so I did so. I checked on my claim every 2 to 3 weeks. I instantly got response, but no one could ever answer my questions. I was told several times a claim agent would call me. Every time they told me my case was under review.. Now it is January 25 and I finally have been able to talk to a Claim agent, who tells me I can’t retrieve any money that I had in costs being hospitalized and stuck in Philadelphia for five days. If that’s all true, why did it take five months for me to get a response!! I have tried to reach the company, and the only place to file a dispute is with AI generated Email. So I’m coming here to vent.

Frustrating experience during the cruise trip

We encountered an issue during our cruise trip. We purchased the insurance believing it covered unforeseen events, but when the cruise line couldn't stop at the first port due to weather, we were informed it wasn't covered. This was disappointing, especially since we received a letter from the cruise line indicating it could be used for insurance purposes. I've had better experiences with another insurance provider in the past. I find this practice misleading and will not use this service again.

Disappointing experience with claims

This service was recommended by another organization, but we're planning to advise them to stop. They didn’t cover our claims for lost days on the cruise, lost luggage, and travel delays, and they requested complicated documentation, which we spent days gathering, only to have the claim denied. The exclusions were extensive. We've had much better experiences with another provider in the past, and we strongly caution others against using this service.
