Generally a good ethical bank, they finally got their online experience up to speed over the past few years after allowing authentication for payments via the app and finally introducing Apple Pay in the Netherlands. What I really dislike though is that they do not allow iDIN (online identification) which every bank except Triodos offers. This service is necessary for example to identify yourself online in the Netherlands to a notary, for a mortgage application, basically for every life changing event in your life, and very cumbersome without iDIN. I put in a complaint about that, and did not like how they handled the complaint. They claim that this is a niche service, but that is nonsense. It is a critical service. You don't need it often, but it is extremely annoying if you do not have it when you need it. Other than that a good bank, 5 stars if they would fix iDIN, until then 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4).
