Beware: Money is at Risk with This Bank

I want to express my frustration with this bank, which seems to allow money to be stolen. When I reached out to their support team, they claimed I had misunderstood the situation. On January 19, funds were taken from my account, and I promptly reported it and blocked everything. They assured me the money would be returned, but when I checked my online banking on January 20, I discovered that the same amount had been stolen again by the same entity. I called the bank once more, and they provided an unclear explanation. I urge everyone to protect their hard-earned money and avoid this bank. I will be sharing all relevant information on social media and filing a police report, as my lawyer is already involved.

I, Oleg Bogdanov, want to say that this Triodos bank allows money to be stolen, and then when you call them and talk to them, they start telling you, "You misunderstood." Yesterday, January 19, money was stolen from my account. I reported it to the bank and blocked everything. They were supposed to return the money to me, but today, January 20, I logged into my online banking and saw that money had been stolen again by the same company. January 19, the same amount, and I called the bank again, and they tried to tell me some kind of incomprehensible story. People, take care of your honestly earned money and never deal with this Triodos Bank. All information about the bank will be posted on all social media and a police report will be filed. My lawyer is already looking into it.

ideologically dedicated to the transition to the app for banking when web based banking was accessible & working, refuse to understand digital exclusion/accessibility. do not understand disability and want users having difficulties to do free market research for them when they are already overburdened instead of paying experts who could assist them to understand accessibility make their services accessible. Very dangerous to bank with if you have access difficulties. Expect to be left high and dry unable to pay bills or access your money for weeks and gaslit with phrases like 'we want to help users with access difficulties understand how they can access our digital services'. its a shocking attitude. you cant train people with disabilities to not have them. just make it accessible.

i had several complications with my cards in other countries as they blocked my card 2 times outside Europe but did not inform me. now they limit my daily cash withdrawl at atm without letting me know. don´t go to the bank if you travel

Fraud team blocked a transaction which at the time was very inconvenient. I shared my frustration with the customer service team and they provided a very satisfying and generous response.

DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BANK!!

The bank put a stop to the trading of their depository receipts and then, after a long period, held meetings and decided to restart and made an offer of compensation for their messing about. My wife and I have joint depository receipts and when we tried to accept their offer on line found that there was bug in their system (which they acknowledged!) and we were unable to process on line and so we requested paper documentation for us to complete. They Promised to send the paperwork and after several emails and telephone conversations, we are still awaiting the documentation. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK even if they eventually sort out our problem!!!!!

Generally a good ethical bank

Generally a good ethical bank, they finally got their online experience up to speed over the past few years after allowing authentication for payments via the app and finally introducing Apple Pay in the Netherlands. What I really dislike though is that they do not allow iDIN (online identification) which every bank except Triodos offers. This service is necessary for example to identify yourself online in the Netherlands to a notary, for a mortgage application, basically for every life changing event in your life, and very cumbersome without iDIN. I put in a complaint about that, and did not like how they handled the complaint. They claim that this is a niche service, but that is nonsense. It is a critical service. You don't need it often, but it is extremely annoying if you do not have it when you need it. Other than that a good bank, 5 stars if they would fix iDIN, until then 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4).
