Why is honesty discouraged? I shared my genuine review about a recent visit and was shocked by the condition of several birds that lacked water. My friends and I had to provide water from an outside tap ourselves, despite informing three staff members about the situation, and nothing was addressed while we were there. These poor creatures were desperately seeking water! I attempted to post my review on a popular platform, but it was rejected on the grounds that it wasn't relevant to the trip.
I completely disagree! The welfare of animals and birds gasping for water is absolutely relevant! They were trying to climb the sides of their cramped enclosures, which might have looked friendly to those unfamiliar with the situation, but they were actually pleading for help!
People deserve to know whether a facility that houses animals and birds for entertainment is treating them properly. If you visited a zoo and saw animals trying to escape for a drink due to staff negligence, that would surely matter! Just as dirty restrooms, poor food, or unprofessional staff would.
I eventually posted my review on another site, believing that the original platform was meant for honest and genuine feedback, which I provided. I noted that the birds had no water and their drinkers were completely dry, yet my review remains unpublished. Not everything is perfect! The public deserves an honest account, not a fabricated “Everything was wonderful” review. It seems that speaking the truth is being suppressed. I am extremely frustrated.
