You cant judge a book by it's cover and that's unfortunately the case with Youles Motorcycles.I bought a motorcycle from their Blackburn branch in May. It was expensive to me (£6,700) and my first time buying from a dealership. All seemed good at first. I knew what i wanted and bought it without seeing or test riding.I initially had a date for collection so i booked my train ticket and day off. I was then told the night before that they needed another two weeks. Two train faires later and I'm finally there. The bike looks great, it's been sprayed with a silicone like spray to give it that wet/shiny look. The trouble came when i asked how the TPMS worked. A factor in me buying the SE model. I was told that because it was an old bike (2013) they didn't know how it worked. A different salesman came out and was able to get some menu's up to change the ride settings ect. I was assured that the TPMS would "be in there somewhere". I thought that it might need the wheels to turn before it displays, so i took it back to Scotland.A few days later and I still couldn't get the TPMS to display. I checked the forums and was told only the dealer tool can activate or amend the TPMS menu. So i called the dealership to see if they could help. The service manager later called me back saying he would look into it and call me back in a few days. Two weeks later, nothing! so i called again, I was told someone would call me back. I waited a week and the same situation again. Fourth try and I get put to a salesman who quite blatantly makes me out to be an idiot for wanting TPMS. He even quoted their General Manager who apparently said "why would you want TPMS".So in short, I bought a bike expecting it to have working TPMS. Youles Motorcycles have now told me I will need to pay to have something that the bike should have came with in the first place. So if you're planning on buying a bike from Youles Motorcycles WITH all the "gadgets" make sure they actually come with them. Their after sales service has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Youles Motorcycles and I wait to hear back from Triumph as I'm sure they put TPMS on their bikes for the user to use! not for the dealer to cost save on.
