I grew up with a dark room and shooting and printing mostly black and white photos. Now that the world is digital (and I don't have time to putter in a darkroom), I have been looking for a service that will print true black and white photos.
I found Fromex and the quality of the prints and speed of service is good.
What I would like to make it even better:
I have an account, but my photos that I upload, edit and crop and not stored for the future. If I wanted a reprint, I would need to start over.
I would like to have options for 11x14 and 16x20 true black and white prints. These are common sizes for prints (and there are lots of frame choices), but the largest standard size is 8x10 and then some odd sizes like 10x15. It's OK to have these odd sizes for panoramic purposes and different digital framing, but it would be really great to have 11x14 and 16x20 options.
Lastly, as far as I know, everything is printed on RC paper. It would be great to have a mat fiber based option for archival quality prints.
